Natasha, first off there is nothing to be ashamed of! Second, send me an e-mail (mail@sanktuary.co.uk) with some more info (where you are etc.) and we will do what we can to help… if you are based in Shropshire then you can always contact the Community Substance Misuse Service (details in the sidebar) this may not be as daunting as speaking to your GP as they are a) strangers and b) specifically trained to help with drugs/alcohol issues. But please do e-mail me and we can see how we may be able to help or to link you in with some support.

Natasha, I would second what MarkB said, I have had problems of my own and have been to the Community Substance Misuse Service they are actually really nice people there and they will not share your information with anyone (not even your GP) without your consent so you can feel safe talking to them even if you don’t want your doctor to know.
I know from having having drug problems myself these problems can be hard but there is help out there and by recognizing you are having difficulties you have made an important first step, Please don’t consider taking your life there is help out there and things can get better I wish you all the best.
