radio coverage
April 29th, 2009
you may have heard on the local radio stations we have been getting quite a bit of coverage over the last couple of days. I’ve done a couple of interviews for Beacon and Radio Shropshire – many thanks to Jim Hawkins on Radio Shropshire who has just been talking about sanktuary – calling it a “hats off to humanity” story, saying that in the deluge of bad news stories like swine flu that it is great to hear good news stories about people putting themselves out to help their fellow humans… hw also noted that he had heard two stories like it recently (the other about people giving furniture to a family of refugees) and both where organised by Christians!

My pleasure! It’s exactly the sort of story I love to highlight; people making a positive difference to other people’s lives. We call them `Hats Off To Humanity’ and we’re always on the lookout for `hats off to humanity’ stories on the show; hear more from 9 every weekday morning on BBC Radio Shropshire, the county’s most listened-to radio station. And if you have such a story, email me jim.hawkins@bbc.co.uk
