you may have heard on the local radio stations we have been getting quite a bit of coverage over the last couple of days. I’ve done a couple of interviews for Beacon and Radio Shropshire – many thanks to Jim Hawkins on Radio Shropshire who has just been talking about sanktuary – calling it a “hats off to humanity” story, saying that in the deluge of bad news stories like swine flu that it is great to hear good news stories about people putting themselves out to help their fellow humans… hw also noted that he had heard two stories like it recently (the other about people giving furniture to a family of refugees) and both where organised by Christians!

After a few good weeks, we have hit another weekend when too many people are on Holiday and we haven’t got enough staff to cover this Saturday.

tonight could be a big night – a sell out crowd is expected at pussycats as Tim Westwood – radio 1 dj & presenter of pimp my ride uk – plays a dj set and does a meet and greet. sank•tuary will be open – come and find us.
